Aiming at imaging problem of complex surface seismic exploration,we summarized the current seismic imaging methods, systematically scanned the current industrial developing situation of PSDM and the current basic theory of RTM which is applied popularly. At the same time,in the actual data,we successfully applied RTM which is based on true surface imaging methods. We also summarized a set of processing procedures of seismic data for applying to true surface imaging methods.The results of this paper are as follow:1?This paper systematically scans the depth migration imaging methods which are applied in the current industrial ordinarily, it also introduces the basic theory of RTM and compares with other main methods through model verifications;2?This paper introduces the basic theory of true surface imaging methods,verifies this theory's realized processes in the reverse time migration calculation. This calculation method may improve imaging accuracy for complex surface. At the same time, the useful information of near surface may be kept. This paper verifies validity of this method through model test and deeply studies the influence for speed to impact on the model;3?This paper chooses the actual data of mountainous area in Southwest China.The true surface imaging method is applied during reverse time migration. Through the discussion of the processing technology and the research of the speed modeling process, we summaries a set of processing procedures to improve imaging accuracy of mountain data through true surface imaging technique. In this way, when keeping near surface information, the error problems of static correction are solved. At the same time, the good processing effects are obtained in the actual data.To sum up, this paper successfully applies true surface imaging method during reverse time migration of actual data. It also provides a new train of thought for complex surface seismic exploration.
