Unmanned aerial vehicle remote sensing recently has gradually become the effective supplement of satellite remote sensing,airplane remote sensing and ground remote sensing.Specially UAV remote sensing has prominent manifestations in emergency surveying and mapping field.Despite the advantages of enormous maneuverability and high real time,the UVA usually need to wait for landing to get the images data.With the development of wireless transmission technology,the video data got from video camera boarded on UAV can be real-time transmitted,providing data for emergency rescue at first time.But lack of geographic information,video only is treated as auxiliary information for commander,which limits its potential applications.The interactive of video and geographic information is a research focus recently,which not only can realize the location and spatial analysis of video,but also expand the expression method of geographical space.Based on this analysis,the paper studied the technology of UAV video coding geographic information,and designed and developed UAV video geographic coding system.Main work contents are as follows:(1)Integration and test of video camera and UAV platform: It includes the selection and installation of platform and sensor,and the establishment of wireless synchronous transmission communication link,developing finally a UAV geographic information video acquisition system.(2)Development of geographic video processing module: The paper used Xtreme Imaging SDK,OpenCV Library,GDAL Library and MFC Library to receive,display and store geographic video data,meanwhile extracted key frame by constant time interval and built corresponding relation between video and geographic information based on time indexing and linear interpolation.Finally using geographic information to ortho rectify images and stitching the orthophoto based on feature matching.(3)Interactive of geographic video and geographic information platform:According to different application scenarios,this paper selected Baidu map and TopWorld from TopRS as geographic information platform to integrate with geographic video.Especially TopWorld and geographic video is interactive integration,which means that it not only can display position and attitude of video capture moment and overlay ortho rectified images,but also use coordinate or time to retrieve video fragment and video frames.In addition the paper designed single frame polynomial correction based on reference image for video which lack of geographic information to realize spatial location.The paper designed and developed a UAV video geographic coding system,which achieves real-time video sequence images with geographic information by high-definition cameras and position and orientation module boarded on UAV to provide data for emergency rescue at first time.Meanwhile integration of video and geographic information platform realizes video spatial location and enhances the real sense of geographical space expression.Developing fright test in Minqing country of Fujian province,the result shows that the UAV video geographic coding system has practical application value.
