The ocean wave is a common wave phenomenon happened in the ocean,Significant Wave Height(SWH)is one of the main parameters describing the ocean wave,playing an important role in the oceanographic research and marine environmental forecasting.Satellite remote sensing is an important means of global marine SWH observation,providing global coverage,long time series of the along track remote sensing data for investigating the wave climate,validating ocean wave and other marine process model,researching wave formation mechanism.In order to obtain the continuous global ocean wave remote sensing data products,a number of fusion studies are conducted on the basis of the ocean wave data.At present,the main global merging ocean wave data products that the spatial resolution is 1°×1°,it is difficult to meet the needs of ocean wave of fine characteristic research.Therefore,this paper carrys out the development of global ocean wave high-resolution remote sensing data products based on the multi-source satellite remote sensing data.First,using the buoy data in National Data Buoy Center(NDBC)validates T/P?Jason-1/2?ENVISAT RA-2?Cryosat-2?HY-2A satellite radar altimeter and ENVISAT ASAR wave spectrum SWH data,correcting the accuracy of remote sensing data according to the regression analysis results.Secondly,merging global ocean wave remote sensing data products that from 2000 to 2015,its time resolution is 1 day,the spatial resolution is 0.25 ° x 0.25 °,by using corrected multi-source remote sensing data and applying the inverse distance weighting method and optimized time-space window through sensitivity test,the data is superior to the existing ocean wave remote sensing data products.Finally,using the NDBC buoy data validate the accuracy of ocean wave data products,the results show that the overall average RMSE is 0.299m;compared with AVISO ocean wave data products,both present a high degree of consistency,the correlation coefficient is 0.93,it shows that remote sensing data product is accurate and reliable,and has good global applicability.Applying the global ocean wave remote sensing data products,for China's offshore and global ocean,respectively,analyze statistically ocean wave temporal and spatial distribution characteristics,examine the application ability.The SWH results in China's offshore show that: the highest peak of the ocean wave is located in the east of the Bashi Channel area,the largest ocean wave in winter and the smallest in summer.The SWH month average has an obvious annual cycle and a half year cycle;The correlation analysis of wind speed and ocean wave height shows that the temporal characteristics of ocean wave height are similar to the ocean surface wind speed.The global ocean wave spatial distribution shows that the global ocean wave maximum is mainly distributed in the Subpolar Westerlies,the North Pacific and the North Atlantic Ocean.Spring is the largest,the Summer is smaller,the Autumn is the smallest,the Winter is growing in northern hemisphere,and the opposite in the southern hemisphere.The global ocean wave SWH is annual cycle,semi-annual cycle,and seasonal cycle,with increasing trend and accelerating rate.
