Inventory Of Moths Species Of National Park Of Wutong Mountain

National park of Wutong Mountain is an iconic landscape of Shenzhen. It has abundant ecological resources, and can prossesses a good scientific value. The biodiversity research of Wutong mountain, especially the species diversity of lepidoptera moths is far below Hong Kong. We investigated the moths along altitudinal gradient between April2015 and March 2016. We preliminary finished the species diversity research of moth in Wutong mountain, and completed the moth list of moths.The main results are as follow:The moths specimens We totally collected are belong to 43 families 1005 species, it contain: 239 species of Pyralidae; 236 species of Noctuidae; 150 species of Gemetridae;100 species of Tortricidae; 30 species of Sphingidae; 22 species of Arctiidae; 20 species of Oecophoridae; 20 species of Gelechiidae; 20 species of Lymantriidae; 17 species of Limacodidae; 15 species of Lecithoceridae; 15 species of Gracillariidae; 15 species of Tineidae; 15 species of Zygaenidae; 15 species of Notodontidae; Pterophoridae;Lasiocampidae; 6 species of Drepanidae; 5 species of Saturniidae; 5 species of Psychidae; 5species of Choreutidae; 1 species of Thyrididae; 5 species of Cosmopterigidae; 4 species of Bombycidae; 3 species of Cossidae; 3 species of Sesiidae; 2 species of Eupterotidae; 2species of Glyphipterigidae; 2 species of Epiplemidae; 2 species of Thyatiridae; 2 species of Immidae; 2 species of Yponomeutidae; 1 species of Attevidae; 1 species of Plutellidae;1species of Metarbelidae; 1 species of Dudgeoneidae; 1 species of Uraniidae; 1 species of Hepialidae; 1 species of Callidulidae; 1species of Epicopeiidae; 1 species of Brahmaeidae;1 species of Cyclidiidae;1 species of Adelidae.The research include: 1 new family record to science: Dudgeoneidae;1 new genus record to science: Dudgeonea Hampson; 1 species as new record to science: Dudgeonea leucosticta Hampson; 1 species as new to science: Lophophelma wutongshana sp.n.; 2species as new record to science: Sacinodes fortis Yazaki, Squamura disciplaga Swinhoe.
