The influence range of the dangerous rock falling is key elements of disaster prevention and governance. At present,there is not a best way to directly predict the influence range of the dangerous rock falling effect effectively. This paper counts the farthest stop product range of the dangerous rock falling under the different influence factors through a large number of indoor test of rolling stones and the method of physical simulation.In terms of the theory of orthogonal test and research on similar materials for slope and rock mass, the 192 indoor test of rolling stones were designed in the paper. And the paper considers the seven factors that consist of the slope surface material, rock lithology,the shape of rock, rock volume, rock startup mode, slope gradient and the release height of rock. By means of range, variance and regression analysis, the test results are analyzed in the following aspects:(1)The influence degree of the 7 factors on maximum longitudinal length of the dangerous rock falling stop product range were: slope gradient> the release height of rock >rock lithology>the shape of rock>the slope surface material>rock volume>rock startup mode.And slope gradient, the release height of rock are the critical factors which have a linear relationship with the longitudinal length of the dangerous rock falling stop product range.(2) The influence degree of the 7 factors on maximum horizontal length of the dangerous rock falling stop product range were: the release height of rock > slope gradient> rock volume> the shape of rock> rock startup mode> rock lithology> the slope surface material.And rock volume,slope gradient,the release height of rock are the critical factors which have a linear relationship with the transverse length of the dangerous rock falling stop product range.(3) This paper infers the regression formula between maximum longitudinal and horizontal length of the dangerous rock falling stop product rang and the key influencing factors.(4) This paper verifies the dangerous rock falling stop product rang through the regression formula, and analyses the application of regression equation.
