The Bolokenu-Aqikekuduke Fault is one of a large right-lateral strike-slip active fault and obliquely cuts the Tian Shan, the fault has been formed before the early paleozoic. Himalayan movement made the fault move again, and formed a series of microgeomorphology. Through the geological survey we find the geometric distribution, structural styles, motion mode and displacement of fault, Based on the age of the Quaternary landform, we attempts research the deformation rate of fault. According to the tectonic stress field we discuss the formation mechanism of fault in the study area. This thesis has come to the following conclusions:(1) The Bolokenu-Aqikekuduke Fault is a right-lateral strike-slip fault, there are lots of microgeomorphology related to fault activity in the southern margin of Turpan basin.(2) This fault zone can be divided three segments in the light of the changes of its strike and active natures. The west segment is dominated by right-lateral strike-slip partly dip-slip with strike NE. The middle segment is divided into two, the north segment is dominated by right-lateral strike-slip partly dip-slip with strike, the south are characterized by thrust movement with strike SW. At the eastern section of fault there is a anticline with strike EW.(3) The right-lateral displacement was about 22 to 41 m and the vertical displacement was about 6.9 to 8.2m of the west segment of fault since 74~57ka,we can find average right—lateral slip rate and vertical slip rate of the west segment of fault were 0.3~0.72 mm/a and 0.09~0.14 mm/a. The right-lateral displacement was about 18.3m and the vertical displacement was about 3.3 to 4.5m of the middle segment of fault since 74~57ka, we can find average right—lateral slip rate and vertical slip rate of the middle segment of fault were 0.24~0.32 mm/a and 0.04~0.078mm/a. The right-lateral displacement was about 3.2m and the vertical displacement was about 1.8m of the middle segment of fault since 12~13ka, the average right—lateral slip rate and vertical slip rate of the middle segment of fault were 0.26~0.24 mm/a and 0.015~0.014 mm/a. Based on the terrace deformation estimated the shortening amount of fault is about 37.34 m, average shortening rate was 0.51~0.66mm/a.
