Land-use data refers to reflecting the land use systems, the state, characteristics, dynamic change and distribution features of land use elements and the developing and utilization, rebuilding and improving, protection and management of human on land as well as land-use planning. Land use map, as a main result of land use investigation, provides scientific basis for government to make overall plans of land use and rational adjustment of land use structure, playing an important role in overall strengthening of land management and promoting sustainable development of the national economy. Therefore, it's becoming an important part of the land-use data applications to make multi-scale scale land-use data. Small polygon composite mapping is extremely important during the whole process of map generalization; however, obvious problems such as selecting a single indicator of smallest area of polygon on the map, low total efficiency and strong subjectivity usually occur during the comprehensive process, What's worse, small polygon composite mapping has no accurate quality evaluation criteria from which point cut we do research.In the paper we described the theory of integrated land-use data mapping and its meaning,analyzed the characteristics of the land- use data based on two tone data and made integrated as well as evaluation of programs for problems of small polygons composite mapping; At last, through stablishing rules of integrated small polygon drawing, the indicator of choosing the smallest area on the polygon is more scientific and targeted, and the small polygons composite mapping with high efficiency and objectivity introducing mathematical model as well as combined the knowledge and experience of cartographic generalization experts, besides, the paper analysis the criteria of spatial data quality evaluation and establish quality evaluation scheme of a small polygons composite mapping providing quality evaluation and self-test standards for small polygon composite mappingFinally the paper analysis the result of second national land survey data in the project of Taihu Lake drawdown from 1: 50,000 to 1:10,000 through small polygon composite mapping.
