Earthquake is one of the most serious natural disasters, so the accurate forecast is the pursuit of human forever. Schumann resonance is stable in frequency and Strength characteristics of scale and very well be observed. The present study has suggested that schumann resonance abnormal phenomena is closely related to the earthquakes, so the schumann resonance abnormal phenomena monitoring research is likely to be an effective method for earthquake prediction.Usually, the only way to receive schumann resonance is in magnetic component, and the magnetic antenna has expensive?maintenance trouble and so on. This paper studies the schumann resonance monitoring technology based on electric field component, at the same time studies the schumann resonance monitoring on magnetic field component. The study result presents that based on the electric field component of schumann resonance monitoring results can reach even beyond receiving results of magnetic field component, which can greatly reduce the technical difficulty of schumann resonance monitoring and monitoring system construction cost. If the monitoring system can be deployed application, it will be to promote the research of schumann resonance.Firstly, this paper introduces the background and research status at home and abroad on the study of schumann resonance, and build a complete receiving system on the basis of detailed analysis about the monitoring system software and hardware.Secondly, this paper focused research the receiving antenna technology of electric field component, and designed suitable receiving antennas in electric field and magnetic field. According to difference of two kinds of antenna, it designed corresponding amplifier circuit, filter circuit, trap circuit, power circuit as well as the receiver circuit, etc.Thirdly, This paper designed some related application software, including USB chip firmware, USB device driver, digital filter and data storage process.Finally, This paper introduces the hardware and software combination do reveive experiment. It gives the detail steps and gets very good result, which verify the realization of the function of the monitoring system. Summarizing the work of the paper and making the future about the follow-up work and worth studying and exploring places.
