So far, observations and studies have confirmed that electromagnetic phenomena exists in the earthquake preparation, but our knowledge about that is very limited. In order to further exploration and study of the relationship between earthquake preparations and earth electromagnetic phenomenon, then used in earthquake resistance, substantial and accurate seismic electromagnetic observation data plays a very important role, whereas, observations rely on surveyequipments. Based on the interpretation of the improvement scheme on electromagnetic disturbance observation instrument, this paper designs and implements a surveyequipment for seismic electromagnetic signal processing and collection.Firstly, this paper summarizes the characteristics and the development trends of the observation equipment current used in electromagnetic disturbance. Referring to the advantages and disadvantages of the instruments that have been applied and relevant national standards and the features of the used sensors, this paper derives the overall hardware and software framework of seismo-electromagnetic signal processing and collection device.Secondly, in the framework of the overall system design, this paper gives the designing detail of the analog signal processing circuit. In the design process of each function circuit, this paper gives choice of circuit topology, the analysis of selected topology, choice of basis component parameters, and the simulation of the designed circuit. This paper also designs the power supply system, and gives the final PCB design drawing.Thirdly, this paper analyzes the requirements of Local Management Software, designs its overall framework, and introduces the detail design process of its main module. In order to compensate for the limited capacity of analog filter, we implement FIR digital filter into Local Management Software.Fouthly, According to the functional requirements of Remote Service Software, this paper determines its overall framework, and gives the detail design process of its main module. As the restricted of ASP.NET, we implement a Windows Service Program to assist ASP.NET to execute modifying system time and network parameters and restarting the device.Finally, this paper presents the test process and results for the observation equipment for seismic electromagnetic signal processing and collection. The test results indicate that the designed device reached design goal. But it still has shortcomings and improvement place. In the end, this paper prospect to the further work of the design.
