Magnetic field is a powerful tool to control the spinor condensate due to the Zeeman coupling between the magnetic field and the spin angular momentum.Recently,a time and space-dependent magnetic field were used to manipulate the spinor condensates in experiments. The topological Hall effect in an antiferromagnetic 23Na condensate and the Dirac monopole in a ferromagnetic spin-1 87Rb condensate were observed, respectively. In this paper we simulate the dynamics of spin-2 87Rb condensate in a time and space-dependent magnetic field with a time-dependent variational approach. The topological Hall effect is observed.A driving-induced resonance behavior is also observed. |
