Linxi area of Chifeng city locates in the northern North China block, and the southern section of Daxinganling. It belongs to the eastern section of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt (CAOB), which is also called Mongolia orogenic belt. It's a favorable area for Non-metallic mineralization. The fluorite mines in Linxi are mainly controlled by fault structures. The NE-NNE regional structure belts are main ore-controlling structure of the fluorite mine in this district, most fluorite mine distributed in the NE-NNE fault zone or the intersection areas of NNE with EW and NW ones. The controlling faults are with multi-phase movement features, which causes the tectonic-mineralization characteristics are complex and variable. After a preliminary study, we figure out that the mineralization periods of Linxi fluorite mine may exist into two periods. They are the high-temperature post-magmatic hydrothermal mineralization period and the low-mid-temperature hydrothermal mineralization period. The former is valueless in industrial development and utilization. And the latter is the main mineralization period of most fluorite mines of Linxi and can be subdivided into three stages. The fluorite mineralization is obviously vertical zoning. From the top down can be roughly divided into:the mine roof, the mine head, the mine body and the mine tail. This paper summarizes characteristics of different parts of the mine-controlling structures of the vein development, the mineral assemblages, the mine stone texture and structure, the wall rock alteration and the mineralization component variation.
