Cascading failure is a kind of network dynamics behavior, once large scale cascading failure occur, it will bring a strong destructive power and influence, which has attracted much attention of many researchers at home and abroad. Therefore, simulation and prevention of cascading failure research have become a popular topic, which as a major strategic issue to study in the world. To avoid the spread of cascading failure in the network effectively, this paper establish a novel model of cascading failure on the basis of local load redistribution strategy. In view of the cascade propagation problem due to the complex network subjected to random failure and deliberate attack, this paper choose classical BA scale-free network as the research object, and define the initial load of node with node degree and define capacity has a linear relation with the initial load. According to the degree and the residual capacity of the node to establish two different kinds of cascading failure model, the first model is D-RC product value cascade model with two adjustable parameters, and the second one is D-RC maximum value cascade model. Take standard avalanche size as a measure of network robustness. Considering the increasing network capacity had a significant effect to increase the strength of robust, but the expansion capacity also brought economic pressure, therefore, we need to find a balance between capacity and robustness to estimate the network's robustness, this paper adopts the critical threshold value of tolerate parameters as another indicator. The results of numerical simulation show that our cascading model can effectively enhance network robustness, which play an important role in the construction of avoiding disaster triggered by cascading failure.
