The rapid development of nanotechnology promises new solutions for several applications such as biomedical, industrial and military fields. A nano-machine is the most basic functional unit at nano-scale, because individual nano-machines can only perform very simple tasks, we usually use nanonetworks which are the interconnection of nano-machines to expand the capabilities of single nano-machines. Traditional communication technologies are not suitable for nanonetworks mainly due to the tiny size of the nanomachine, thus we consider using bio-inspired molecular communication to implement the communication between nanomachines.Molecular communication is defined as the transmission mode of information encoded in molecules,it is a new and interdisciplinary field that spans nano, bio and communication technologies. This paper focuses on the molecular communication system using vesicles. In this system, the information moleculars can be encapsulated within vesicles, and then be sent by the transmitter nano-machine. When the vesicles arrive at the receiver, they can bind to the receiver's cell-surface receptors and enter it via receptor-mediated endocytosis. While most literatures study on the molecular communication system using vesicles only consider the effect of channel in their mathematical models, this paper take both the release and reception process into consideration. The transmission scheme I use in this paper is free diffusion, which follows the Fick's Law.Firstly, this paper introduces the basic knowledge related to nanonetwork and molecular communication, on this basis the paper analyses the molecular communication system using vesicles and build its system model. Secondly, the paper provides the probabilities of vesicle release and reception respectively. Then, because the channel capacity analysis of molecular communication systems is an important research topic, this paper develops a mathematical model to evaluate channel capacity of the hybrid channel, which includes a transmitter, channel and a receiver. Finally, the paper adds the simulation of the influence of the factors on channel capacity at MATLAB environment.
