The population distribution is a kind of distribution status in every area in a certain time. The Population distribution whether in resources utilization, regional planning and coordinator human-environment relationship all has the vital significance. The traditional demographic data stems from demography, but it can't describe population distribution phenomenon well. And it has already shown its limitation in earthquake disaster assessment. So, population data which has higher accuracy is needed. Spatialization of population statistics data is one of the methods to solve above mentioned problems.In this thesis, residential architectures are looked on as the reference of population distribution. Spatialization method of population statistics data based on residential architectures reclassification is proposed and suitable grid scale is discussed. On the basis of spatialization result, this thesis has analyzed population spatial distribution pattern, scale effect of population spatial distribution pattern and influence factors of population distribution. This thesis achieves research results and conclusions as follows:(1)Spatialization method of population data based on residential architectures reclassification has advantages such as few data source, simple model, a small amount of calculation and high accuracy. With the support of high precision geospatial data, this method will be a workable population data spatialization method. (2)The suitable grid scale for spatialization is 100m-250m in study area of this paper. (3)Population distribution has strong spatial positive autocorrelation, showing significant spatial agglomeration pattern. Select five scales such as villages, lkm grid,500m grid,250m grid and 100m grid to analyze autocorrelation of population density. Analysis results show that the smaller the grid scale the greater the global autocorrelation index except 1km grid. (4) The advantage altitude of population distribution is less than 100m. The influence of altitude on population distribution is great when altitude above 100m. Else, the influence is negligible. In study area, rivers have a little influence on population distribution. Population depends on government, medical institution, kindergarten, primary school and middle school intensively. Radius of influence is about 1500m.
