For the increasing demands of geographic information acquisition for response speed and solver precision equipment needs of inertial navigation system, combined with higher accuracy, less random drift, larger dynamic range and other characteristics of inertial measurement unit output signals, This paper designs and implements an inertial navigation computer system processing platform based on TMS320C6713B type of DSP and XC3S400 type of FPGA. This platform is based on DSP and FPGA to collect data of ADIS16448 inertial measurement unit and to calculate navigation information. This paper proposes an improved inertial system initial coarse alignment program based on an existing initial coarse alignment method, and applies to the navigation platform. According quaternion method to update the strapdown matrix of the inertial navigation system, this paper completes the attitude, velocity and position information solver of the navigation platform in real time. This article does a data collection experiment, and solving the three-dimensional motion vector information and real-time dynamic display. Experiments demonstrate the feasibility and stability design of the navigation platform, and the availability of the navigation solver algorithm. This platform has a simple design, real-time data acquisition, high accuracy and convenient data communication interfaces to meet the miniaturization, high accuracy, timeliness and reliability development needs of the navigation system. This platform has a certain value in projects. It can be applied to data acquisition and processing of varieties of sensor, such as inertial navigation, integrated navigation and so on.
