Labrador is located in eastern Canada, rich in metallic mineral resources. Iron dominated by Lake Superior-type iron deposit in Labrador, and mainly focused on the new Quebec orogen Labrador West. Nickel and copper Labuduola area is mainly distributed in the copper nickel sulfide deposit of Voisey's Bay. Thesis mainly go into details of the above two aspects, summarizes the metallogenic regularities, for our country to foreign mineral resources development and utilization to provide a certain basis.This article uses the typical ore deposit, the transformation searches and the geological data, Combined with Labrador Retriever Lake Superior-type iron formation into the metallogenic geological characteristics and evolution of ore belt, Preliminary judging Labrador region of Lake Superior-type iron formation is a banded iron construction and transition between granular iron formation (volcanic) deposition metamorphic type of iron formation. Mainly from the Voisey's Bay nickel and copper sulphide deposits of the main causes of type is magmatic, hydrothermal supplement.Labrador combined geologic features unique to the region, suggesting that Lake Superior-type iron mineralization rationale from copper nickel sulfide deposits of nickel, copper closely linked. With the prospecting techniques in recent years geological continues to mature, and through its metallogenic scale, metallogenic environment, metallogenic evolution feature inference Labrador region iron, nickel, copper deposit has a good resource potential.
