The plant lectin is a class of protein,which has the capacity to bind oligosaccharide reversiblyand specificity,and having Single or Several non-catalytic domain; The domain was combined by Oligosaccharides, Jacalin lectin was important family of plant lectins, it included single or several glycosylated Jacalin domain.There is a difference between The Jacalin lectin and traditional plant lectin, for instance subcellular localizationwas^ protein abundance^ and effects of environmental factors on gene expression.The Resilience reaction of plant lectin depended interaction between cell glycans participated. The plant lectin not only affectting the environmental stress,but also Participating in plant endogenous regulation more.The CaMBPs widely found in vegetable kingdom,which expression was affected by multiple adversity Stress,as an important protein of researching plant stress response.The expression of CaMBPs can be affected by a variety of stresses. In this study,we screened the proteins interacting with OsCaMBP in rice,and this study selected one protein, which jacalin-related lectin,named OsJRL,To carrying out gene function analysis OsJRL, The main results as following:1.Analyzing the sequence of OsJRL,we found the gene encodes 145 amino acid residues, and isoelectric point is about 4.78, Predicted molecular 63.2KD,eight stress-inducible cis-elements can be found in its promoter. The result of semi-quantitative PCR shows the OsJRL can be induced by various stresses;2.Analyzed OsJRL expression levels at different tissues under different stresses by RT-PCR,the gene OsJRL is induced by a variety of stresses, indicating that the gene was classified a multiple stress-inducible gene,which expressed in different degrees in roots and leaves,as the express level in different tissue was different.3.We got the homozygous overexpress transgneic lines,and launched the stress treatment experiments,We found that the stress tolerance is enhanced in overexpression plants.4.Subcellular localization confirmed the OsJRL gene is located in cell membrane,intimated OsJRL participated in the process of plant defense in the cell membrane surface,and can interact with sugar or glycoprotein hormones further involvement of different signaling pathways to regulation of biotic and abiotic stresses.
