The size and distribution of landslide thrust are the main factors that determine the choice of landslide control design and the mechanical characteristics of retaining structures. However, the existing landslide thrust distribution methods are considered as a homogeneous medium landslide, for heterogeneous complex landslide research is less, especially in aspects of theoretical analysis methods, indoor physical model test.In the transfer coefficient method based on force analysis of landslide body and the landslide is divided into finite elements, the vertical differential method is used to solve the distribution of landslide thrust theory. Based on the indoor model tests and numerical simulation method to modify the thrust distribution that is calculated by the theoretical analysis and verify the feasibility of the differential method of slices, finally, in order to Yang south ditch project as an example to prove the practicability of the method, the main work and results are as follows:(1)Based on the transfer coefficient method, sliding block is divided into unit, the force of each unit is analyzed, and the vertical differential method is used to solve the distribution of landslide thrust theory. The results show that the landslide thrust of uniform landslide model was distributed outside the parabola, the landslide thrust of non-uniform landslide model was overall distributed mansard.(2)In order to validate the vertical differential method, theoretical calculations, laboratory model test and numerical simulation is used to research distribution of landslide thrust of uniform and non-uniform landslide model. The results show that the landslide thrust of uniform landslide model was distributed outside the parabola; the landslide thrust of non-uniform landslide model was overall distributed mansard, the ladder to rectangular distribution change to the ladder, differences exist in the theoretical calculations, so the simulated distribution is based on the laboratory tests and numerical, suitably modified form of the theoretical distribution calculated. when the static friction coefficient is 0.25 between the same landslide materials, the static friction coefficient is 0.3 between the different landslide materials, the modified calculation model is more close to the form and distribution of indoor test and numerical distribution of landslide thrust, and improve the feasibility of the block differential analysis method that research distribution of landslide thrust of uniform and non-uniform landslide model.(3)Yang Nan Gou landslide model as an example, the vertical differential method is used to solve the model the distribution of landslide thrust, and numerical simulation method is used to verify the theoretical method. The results show that the distribution of landslide thrust from the top to toe in yang nan gou landslide model change a rectangular distribution into triangular distribution, the central thrust of landslide is triangular and rectangular composite form distribution, so the verification for the landslide thrust of vertical differential method is reasonable and practical, and summed up the formula of the distribution of landslide thrust of the project.
