Block Tai 30 of Taipingtun Oilfield in the northern Songliao Basin has good prospect, Fuyu Reservoir is the focus of incremental reserves and further development, but development of sand body and reservoir physical property restrict the increase of reserves and production, therefore a further understanding of sand distribution and target strata oil-bearing is needed.The article is based on previous research by verifying Fuyu reservoir seismic horizons and major faults, thus structural and sedimentary characteristics of the area is analysed. Lithologic horizon of Fuyu reservoir was calibrated and its reflector features was analyzed with the Module Synthetics of Landmark Interpretation System. Channel sand is distinguished with the combination of time domain attribute analysis, frequency division interpretation technique(SpecDecomp) and reservoir sedimentary facies prediction. Lithologic traps are distinguished through Geo-office impedance inversion and StatmodMC of resistivity inversion in Jason, thus favorable area prediction is completed on the basis of the magnitude of structural traps, trap area, the level of implementation, trap shape and sandstone thickness, size of the effective thickness of the reservoir properties of the quality and other factors.The article demarcates 6 horizons which is respectively top F?1, top F?2, top F?3, top F?1, top F?2 and bottom F?2. Shallow lakes deltaic depositional system dominates mainly in the study area with delta front facies and delta plain facies, sandstone series of F? and upper F? develop better, which distributes like strips or beads. Oil of Fuyu reservoir mainly concentrates in F? and upper F? and sand reservoir distribution is the main controlling factor of the reservoir. The reservoir type is mainly structural-lithologic reservoir and fault-lithologic reservoir. On the basis of oil structural configuration, fault feature, channel sand body distribution and well testing data, hydrocarbon accumulation is analyzed and recognized. 17 favorable oil and gas areas of F? oil group in Fuyu reservoir with cumulative area of 234.9km2 and 8 more favorable oil and gas areas with cumulative area of 26.5km2 are predicted, so it is the same with 17 favorable oil and gas areas of F? oil group in Fuyu reservoir with cumulative area of 108.8km2 and 9 more favorable oil and gas areas with cumulative area of 39.1km2.
