Cardiovascular disease is the most dangerous diease that kills the large amountof people every year. The most widely used treatment for cardiovascular disease isvascular stent intervention. In this paper, the arterial wall is assumed as ananisotropic hyperelastic constitutive three-dimensional structure and we build upfour different types of vascular stents to analysis using the finite element method invascular and discuss the optimization of them. The tree-dimensional arterial wall with residual strain and anisotropichyperelastic constitutive model has been established. The influence of the strain andstress under increasing radius has been obtained. The response of the circumferentialand radial residual stress and strain under increasing radius has been considered. The importance of the residual stress and strain in vascular stents has proven usingthe finite element analysis.Four vascular stents and together with them in the artery wall models have beenestablished. The mechanical response of the expansion node at the maximum stressplace has obtained under the expansion of the vascular stent. The response of thearterial wall over time has been obtained. The stent that has the minimal influence on arterial wall on two aspects hasbeen optimized. On one hand is to change the number of strut, the other is thepattern of the connector. The response under different geometric parameters isobtained. The research method that suitable for Chinese people artery walls has beenestablished.
