A healthy bank system is vital for the economic growth of a country is widely recognized. The amount of costs on revolution of national state-owned banks is also significant. Take China Construction Bank as an example, Since 1999 to divest from non-performing assets to asset management companies, listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2005 (H shares), Chinese government already invested over 500 billion Yuan. So far, the research of bank risk control is mainly focus on the risk control of bank’ s microscopically management rather than that of some specific credit service. This paper presents some experience of controlling the risk of fixed assets lending in China Construction Bank and wants to analyze the situation, problem, and future of risk control of fixed assets lending in our commercial banks. With the spread of sub-loan crisis, Chinese government introduced a 4 trillion economic stimulus plan in November 2008, following, commercial banks’ mid-term and long-term loans kept rapid increasing in four months. Under this economic crisis environment, how to strengthen risk management over fix assets of commercial bank is undoubtedly significant. Through the research, this article proposed the ways about strengthening the profession investigation, enhancing the management after loan, consummating the evaluation of the background support and so on to come to control the Commercial bank fixed asset loan risk .First of all, this article will introduce the relevant background and analyses history of the development of risk management theory in banking. Secondly, it will analyses the status of fixed assets of the China Construction Bank lending .The third part will Analyses the risk control and management of the fixed assets of the China Construction Bank lending. Part IV will represent the challenges and difficulties that fix asset loan are facing. Part V will indicate the strategies and recommendations on risk management and control of fix asset loan.
