Service-oriented manufacturing industry is one of the most advanced manufacturing modle i n the 21 st century, featuring “full service lifecycle”, “integrated service” and “customer’s full par ticipation”. This thesis starts with one feature-“customer’s full participation” to study the development process of new products. Against the background of product homogeneity, good customer satisfaction makes it possible that new product can stand out among others. Therefore,how to enhance customer’s satisfaction for product has become a concern of enterprises recently.This thesis is intended to achieve the improvement of customer satisfaction and complete the development of new product by Kano function model and rough set theory. The thesis mainly includes the following parts:(1) Constructs the personnel selection model Based on rough set theory. According to the actual needs of customers to participate in the new product development process, using the model to acquire customers who will assist the professional personnel.(2) All kinds of expressions will be used to instead of the value of the Kano questionnaire to collect data,and combining the Kano function with MATLAB to build a demand model, thus resulting in the development of new product.(3)Take H company as an example, study the development process of the old phone and make the phone appraisal way using the demand model. Then compare the analysis between the newly-developed elderly cellphone and such similar products, and test the pass rate of new products to make a new product evaluation.
