Green tea has been a traditional economic product in Korea.Due to the few kinds of tea and the small population that drinks tea,most Korean don’t know much about tea.Despite that,tea plays an important role in Korean economy development.Korean tea culture has underwent huge impact in recent years,with deepening cultural exchange between China and Korea and increasing Chinese tea entering Korean tea market.Based on Korean consumers knowledge to Chinese tea,habits of buying and drinking tea,their reason for buying tea,this research studies Korean consumers’ attitude toward Chinese tea and obtain the follow results:consumers care about tea quality.The most middle-price tea is the most popular choice.Consumers in Korea have shallow knowledge of tea culture.At last,base on the analysis,this research proposes suggestions to tea sellers,expecting to be a reference for future tea business between China and Korea.An introduction to research background、methods and the meaning of this research.An introduction to tea culture exchange between China and Korea from ancient years to now,including the establishment and development of Chinese and Korean tea cultures,the cultural spirits of the two tea cultures,and situation of the interaction between these two cultures.An introduction to current situation of Korean and Chinese industries.An questionnaire for Korean consumer of Chinese tea,including basic information,tea drinking habits knowledge of Chinese tea,consumption on Chinese tea,and opinions towards Chinese tea of each respondent.This questionnaire investigate Korean consumers from all perspective to analysis the Chinese tea market in Korea.Discussion and suggestions.After discussions based on the information from the questionnaire,several suggestions are proposed for the development of Chinese tea in Korean market.Suggestions include improving tea qualities,circulating transparently,eliminating faker,spreading tea culture,importing more tea-related products,and adjusting tea prices.
