With the rapid development of regional economic integration during the worldwide and the changes in the economic situation in East Asian, East Asia has accelerated the speed of its regional economic cooperation. In the tide of regional economic cooperation in East Asia, the economic cooperation among Mainland China,Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan(four cross-strait for short), which originally have close economic and trade relations, faces great challenges and opportunities. Its prospects for development will not only influence economic development of the four parts and their international economy status, but also will affect economic development pattern of East Asia as well as Asian area. As a political power and economic power, whether in terms of global strategy or from the regional strategic perspective, we need to establish regional economic integration at the core of its own. The goal of this strategy mainly takes the four cross-strait as foundation to establish Chinese development entity. Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, as China’s three separate customs territories, have important partners-relationship in trade and investment relations between each other. The establishment of “Greater China economic circle” free trade area, the new initiatives of conforming to the historical trend, is not only the basis of economic prosperity and the development, but also the urgent need of Chinese rapid economic development and all-round rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. In this article, I focus on the necessity and possibility of establishing the “Greater China economic circle”, and point out that although has the barrier, the conformity of the four cross-strait is formerly more optimistic than any time. In the future, the regional economic cooperation of them will possibly be the integrated process which is the unity of complex political objective and economic target.2010 China-Asian Free Trade Area fully operational, the world’s largest free trade area in Asia, was born, but as the forefront of exchanges between China and Asian land in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, how can continue to play under the new situation, its own advantages in the development of its own success, while the rise of the Chinese nation to play their own strength, our thought. "Greater China Economic Circle" concept had already been filed。In recent years, the Chinese mainland and Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, the two sides four places are becoming increasingly close, the traditional economic boundaries are fast being broken, to build the conditions for the Greater China economic circle more and more mature. And a comprehensive view of the latest developments in the Greater China economic circle, are also the connotation and extension of the continuing expansion of the magnetic pull of China is more and more peripheral economies incorporated.From the perspective of the rise of China, constructing "greater China economic circle" is the promotion of history and necessity.
