This thesis mainly analyze supplier managed inventory, one branch of supply chain management, taking manufacturing giant FZ Corporation as an example, analyzes the problems existing in the vendor managed inventory, and provides the solution.This thesis describes the basic concepts of the theory of supply chain management and vendor managed inventory VMI, then do analysis centered around FZ company four subjects, such as the demand side, the supply side, the company’s operations, logistics terminal, through a detail analysis on the company’s entire supply chain business process, finally puts forward the optimization scheme. The research framework is as follow: when analyse FZ company customer demand, find out the reason for low forecast accuracy, and provides proposal to improve the forecast accuracy and build rational safety stock via product combination method.when analyse customer handling expired inventory, provides improvement scheme via price contract-based profit allocation mechanism. When analyse raw materials supply, give proposal via Crochi supply matrix method and SCOR to raw materials purchasing and vendor management and optimize of supply chain flexibility.When analyse FZ compamy operation, put forward optimization through promote internal supply chain system automation and inventory control effect. When analyse FZ compamy logistics, put forward optimization through shorten onway lead time and improve FCL rate.When analyse FZ company VMI problems, through important interview method, process analysis and quantitative data analysis method, puts forward a set of feasible VMI scheme. This thesis do a deep analysis and summary to vendor managed inventory system, through a series of measures to optimize FZ Corporation customer demand, raw materials supply, FZ company operation, FZ corporation logistics, in order to reduce FZ Corporation inventory scale and aging amount and improve FZ company customer service.Final purpose is to provide a vendor managed inventory reference for contract manufacturer, to promote enterprise to improve the profit level and industry competitive. |
