With the continuous promotion of medical reform in China, more and more people pay attention to using the scientific method to improve operational efficiency of medical industry with protecting the life and health of people. This brings an opportunity for the use of supply chain management in the medical industry. Based on supply chain management thoughts, the article analyzes the particularity of medical products, main body and medical supply chain in detail, and studies the purchasing issue in the healthcare field in the case of drug purchase.First, we summarize the development situation of purchasing management considering supply chain risk and medical supply chain management.Second, we analyze the present situation and deficiency of China’s medical industry and hospital purchasing management, and explore the difference between medical supply chain and general supply chain from three points, and should take the characteristics of medical supply chain into account in the application.Third, based on analysis above and combined with the high random, the characteristics of "quasi-public product" and so on, the article studies the hospital’s purchasing and selection problem in the case of drugs. Moreover, considering the risk of supply disruptions, we propose using the expected cost function to compare the single and dual sourcing. And on this basis, we illustrate the application of the model through a numerical example, and evaluate the impacts of some key factors on the choice of procurement modes, including disruption probability of main pharmacy enterprise, the biggest market demand for drugs and so on.Finally, being excessively dependent on single sourcing will increase the vulnerability of drug supply network. So when the main and secondary suppliers both have supply disruptions, the research focuses on dual sourcing which has good robustness in response to the risk and uncertainty of drug supply network. Under the circumstances of stochastic market demand, we establish the drug purchase model in the presence of supply chain disruption risk to seek the optimal order quantity and the optimal allocation strategy through solving and analysis of the established stochastic programming model. Further, we study ordering problem with the demand satisfied rate. And we analyze the impact of disruption probability and demand satisfied rate on the optimal strategy by numerical simulation.
