Study On The Control Of Agricultural Non-point Source Pollution In Gansu

Since the 1950 s, the “oil agriculture” has flourished on the leading of the United States, the agricultural development of the vast majority of other countries is trend to towards high investment, energy intensive, high output and high pollution, and so does China to face two barriers like resources and the environment nowadays. The agricultural ecological environment is the material basis of agricultural production, and also the source guarantee for the quality safety of agricultural products. In recent years, the total supply of grain and other major agricultural products was rising year by year, the agriculture and rural economy also made a rapid development, however, the evolving agricultural non-point source pollution problem gets more and more severer, and it has become a constraining bottleneck to the healthy development of agriculture in Gansu province. Therefore, the systematic study on the prevention and cure of agricultural non-point source pollution in Gansu has great theoretic and practical significance.The paper sorts out the domestic and foreign research trends on agricultural non-point source pollution prevention and cure, concludes the related theoretical basis for the cause and control of agricultural non-point source pollution, based on this, taking Gansu province as an example, analyses the agricultural non-point source pollution in Gansu province and its major hazard under the background of transformation of agriculture and rural areas, and finds out the main causes of agricultural non-point source pollution in Gansu province. Meanwhile, clarifies the main problems in current prevention and cure of Gansu agricultural non-point source pollution, and tries to explore the origin of the problems. On the base of learning from the United States and European Union, puts forward the countermeasures of prevention and cure of Gansu agricultural non-point source pollution, and sets up a primary prevention and cure system for Gansu agricultural non-point source pollution, separately from the law and policy, the administrative supervision, economic adjustment, technical support and public engagement.
