China has become the world’s second largest oil refining and consumption in 2008 reached 4.38×104tons, oil refining capacity. Through restructuring, processing more and more refining device; the autonomy of research and development technology, has a comprehensive grasp of crude oil processing technology, to large refineries self construction of annual processing capacity of 10 million tons. Expected by 2020, the demand of China’s steam coal and diesel oil will reach 4×104 tons, but the oil refining industry downturn, most of the refinery losses but also to face the reality. In sufficient supply of crude oil, overseas market expansion difficulties, refinery processing process, crude oil procurement difficulty.Further optimization of the total current flow of oil refining, the construction of a hydrogenation of refinery, make full use of petroleum resources, to meet the refinery production. Decarburization type refinery in investment costs and hydrogenation type, cost less, in the price of crude oil under the conditions of low carbon type, there are more advantages, but in the price of crude oil under the condition of relatively high, hydrogenation refinery advantage is reflected, deep process in gand high value-added products will bere flected obviously, as no renewable resources of oil price is more and more high. The great development of the refining industry also need to continue to achieve the construction of the refinery, refinery continues to expand mainly in two ways, one is through the old plant renovation and expansion, the other is the new refinery, whether it is changed expansion or new development has brought the oil industry must solve a series of problems. Guangxi Petrochemical Company as a new refinery project in 2010, has just put into operation, but in order to improve the processing of low-grade, heavy crude oil capacity, improve product performance, meet environmental requirements, through the optimization of existing installations to solve the supplementary question is currently facing priority.This thesis analyzes the current situation of A large refinery in southern China to arrive at a more appropriate solution.
