In recent years, the climate warming is a problem what is widely concerned by countries all over the world. Building products and the construction process is one of the major source of greenhouse gas emissions, which has important influence on climate change, in our country, the construction energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions that all show a trend of increasing year by year. With the arrival of the peak of urbanization, the building energy consumption has become one of the main ways of the social terminal energy consumption, and increasing rapidly, if without controlled, according to the current situation of the development, the building energy consumption will reach the degree that we cannot bear in 2020.This paper aims to study construction green total factor productivity with considering energy consumption and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, and according which to analysis economic growth of construction industry that reliance on energy consumption and CO2 emissions, and correct evaluate the sustainable of construction development path. Based on the traditional total factor productivity, putting the energy consumption and CO2 emissions in the productivity analysis framework, defining the concept of the construction green total factor productivity, building the evaluation index system of the construction green total factor productivity; Using the BCC-DEA model to empirical estimates and analyses the construction green total factor productivity, and combining with the measured results to analysis the technical efficiency, pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency on the level of national and provincial; based on the panel data of 30 provinces and cities, using the Malmquist DEA model to do the empirical calculation and analysis of the construction green total factor productivity change, then going further analysis the a and β convergence of the measurement results, on this account, to analyze long-term evolution trend of growth difference of the construction green total factor productivity; Finally, using panel data regression model to analyze the influencing factors on the construction green total factor productivity growth, and providing the reasonable suggestions for the construction growth and transformation.As an important sector of national economic development, the construction bears the major responsibility for the target to realize reducing carbon dioxide emissions. Developing the construction industry from the perspective of low carbon economy, which has a huge potential to achieve the target of greenhouse gas emissions reduction in 2020,and plays a decisive role of the sustainable development of construction industry. |
