Land use/land cover (LUCC) in desert oasis has important significance in the study of ecological environment change in arid and semi arid area. With the rapid development of remote sensing (RS) technology, LUCC information extraction has become a key step in LUCC research. Human activities use different land use impact on land cover, change the type of land cover, in turn, environmental changes affect human activities. Global environmental change has become a hot topic in today’s society people of hot debate, and social and economic development and human activities are closely related to the land use/land cover change has become the focus of global environmental change research. The combination of geographic information system (GIS) and RS technology to extract land use information and dynamic analysis has become a leading topic in the study of global change. In order to monitoring and evaluation of land use/land cover information in desert oasis area and its dynamic change, analyzes the influencing factors of ecological environment change. This study selected autonomous region of Xinjiang Kashi Area (North and South: 535km things:750km. Total area:16.2km2 as the study area, using 90 years, in 2000, and in 2011, from April to October between the spatial resolution of 30m 37 Landsat TM and ETM+ remote sensing data by like the prime classification method (decision tree classifier), extraction of cultivated land, woodland, grassland, construction land, water and not use of six categories of land using type information and on land use type information dynamic change and driving force analysis based on.The popular classification accuracy evaluation method of confusion matrix (producer accuracy and user’s accuracy and overall accuracy) and kappa coefficient method of Kashgar in Xinjiang Autonomous Region in 1990 and 2000,2011, land use type was carried out to evaluate the accuracy, three stage classification accuracy between the 86.38%-93.85%; kappa coefficient respectively between 0.84-0.92. Three phase classification accuracy are relatively high, reliable results, for the land use changes in the types of information and driving force analysis provides a reliable source of data. From the two factors of influence on the land use change of natural factors and artificial factors, the influence of Xinjiang Kashi area 21 year period of climate change, precipitation how much influence, natural disasters and other natural factors and social economic factors of object types. Finally, with the help of social and economic data of study area, from the impact of land use change impact factor selected 11 factor analysis, the factor were covered by the social and economic factors of population growth, economic development and urbanization, using principal component analysis method, specific from society, economy, population and other human factors on the impact of land use change driving factors were analyzed. The research results can provide a strong basis for the relevant land resources management departments to make relevant decisions.
