Due to the unbalanced economic developme nt in our country, the regional rural households per capital consumption also has a very dif fe-rent life. Therefore, it is necessary to study and discussion, the rural residents’ consump tion level of rural residents’ consumption in order to find some characteristics of thinking a bout a solution.The research idea of this article is: the first step, the eight rural residents’ consumption indexs are divided into two group of canonical correlation analysis, it’s concluded that has a strong correlation between two groups of indicators, and means to promote rural economic development and at the same time should pay attention to priority to promote rural res-idents safeguard consumer; The second step, using the factor analysis of statistical methods to analyze the rural residents’ consumption level, it’s concluded that Chinese 31 provinces(municipalities directly under the central government, autonomous regions) of factor score r anking, according to the rankings, to explain our country need to vigorously develop the economy of the northwest rural residents; The third step, on the basis of factor analysis,using the system clustering analysis method is a more reasonable classification result, let th-e eastern region in the western region development, enhance the level of rural economy and to promote the consumption level of rural residents.
