The Research On County Economic Development Countermeasures Of Poor Area

Poverty is a major problem that county development have to be up against in recent years, the study on poverty of county economy have also received extensive attention. Researching on the development countermeasures of it in poverty-stricken areas has a positive role in narrowing regional gap and promoting the harmonious construction of society. Eliminating poverty is the basic task of China to build a well-off society and achieve the sustainable development in an all-round way, as policy for poverty alleviation and development was proposed in "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" and accurate battle for poverty alleviation began, the project on county economic development in poor areas is quite urgent. Dabie Mountain area is one of the concentrated destitute areas and crucial battleground for poverty alleviation, as a poverty-stricken county in Dabie Mountain area and historical and cultural county in Anhui province, the task of Shou’s economic development is very difficult.Collecting a large amount of data through participating in my tutor’s projects and referring to the related literature books in combination with qualitative and quantitative analysis method, firstly, put forward reasons of the lagging on development on the present situation of the county economy in poor areas, and make suggestions for the development of it in poverty-stricken areas of general. Secondly, taking Shou county in Dabie mountain area as an example, analyze the present situation and summarize the achievements and predict a general trend of economic development,find the existing problems on development of Shou county, then take the SWOT analysis method to analyze county economy development on advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threats, and determine its direction. Finally, lay down regional economic development path and countermeasures of Shou county.
