A Comparative Study On The Development Of Border Trade Between Guangxi And Yunnan

Border trade is a form of trade between countries and regions of the border area. It promote the economic development of border areas. It adjust and optimize the economic structure of border area. It promote the national unity and social stability of border areas. With the world economic integration increasingly strengthened, China’s economy has come into the new normal today. Border trade is still showing a strong vitality and development potential. Yunnan and Guangxi belong to the economically less developed provinces. The development of border trade in two provinces have many things in common, but there are obvious differences. Guangxi has been far higher than Yunnan in the total amount of border trade. Through the comparative study on the development of border trade between the two provinces, we can find out their own advantages and disadvantages. In order to avoid weaknesses, to achieve the development of border trade in two provinces under the transformation of "China’s New Normal". The countermeasures and suggestions of transformation and development of border trade:promote the construction of port infrastructure, and port development model innovation; linkage development mode to promote the optimization and upgrading of trade economic; mutual cut barriers of trade and investment under the principle of equality and mutual benefit; promote the cross-border transport’convenient and specification; encourage enterprises to development of foreign direct investment and circumvent restrictions of non-tariff barriers.
