| Grain is the basis of the farmers’product. Its price fluctuations and production inputs relate to the operation of the entire national economy, and relate to the interest of the relevant producers and consumers. Food-related issues, such as food imports, food security, grain farmers income and other issues, which has been a hot issue for the government and people. We must make the stability of the effective supply and grain yield increase of farmers to ensure our food safety, which is always a top priority for the entire national economy. From the proceeds of trade for grain farmers as the main line, we effectively grasp the various factors that affect farmers production inputs and establish relationship models. According to the results of the model, we develop effective measures to regulate the farmers for food production inputs and guide the healthy operation of the grain market and ensure food security.Firstly, this paper analyze present situation and the balance our grain supply and demand. Secondly, after combing domestic related literature, we sort out the achievements and shortcomings of current research about farmers’ investment. From the factor of food price factors, policy factors, the individual characteristics and capital, we analyze the impact of the farmers production inputs. The paper build model between farmers’production inputs and various factors. The results of each model were analyzed and summarized. And then it make the appropriate recommendations for guidance. Finally, data base model was constructed to predict the trend of import prices on farmers’ production behavior. This paper receive the following conclusions through empirical research. Firstly, food imports influence differently for different grain varieties. Grain imports have a negative impact to China’s wheat, corn, soybeans, but the import of rice have a positive impact for rice production. Secondly, income levels and national food subsidies and family income have a positive impact on food grain production in China. The moer income levels and food subsidies have, the higher the household income have, the more production inputs farmers do. Having higher education level, farmers choose different way to use the educational resources in the production of other forms of business and give up growing grain. Finally, through theoretical and empirical analysis in this paper, which find the food import prices and domestic food prices, household education level, family business income and consumer spending, food benefits, the policy of subsidies that affect China’s grain production inputs. In order to improve China’s grain production inputs, to protect our food security, the author proposes relate recommendations including control food imports, a reasonable allocation of educational resources or improve the income level of farmers or increase subsidies to farmers and other recommendations. |
