| In recent years, advanced manufacturing industry(AMI) as a new concept combines advanced and high technology character. Therefore, accelerating the development of advanced manufacturing industry would be an effective and feasible path to optimize the structure of China’s manufacturing industry and promote transformation and upgrading of industry. Knowledge-intensive producer service(KIPS) could provide professional and knowledge services for the advanced manufacturing industry, and plays a major role in the course of upgrading and optimization of the manufacturing industry structure. Therefore, it is urgent and necessary to study the interactive development relationship between advanced manufacturing industry and knowledge-intensive producer service. The results of the study would help us to further analyze its development rule, as well as lay the foundation for promoting its development.It is found that the studies of the relationship between manufacturing industry and producer service industry have already been quite mature according to carding the related literature at home and abroad. However, the research on the interactive relationship between AMI and KIPS is relatively lack. Basing on the existing related research, this paper defines the concept of AMI and KIPS, meanwhile, sums up the previous research methods, and finally determines the method of this paper which is used to study the interactive relationship among industries.First of all, this paper respectively selects the industries of the AMI and the KIPS in Shandong province. Secondly, by analyzing the output value, problems and reasons of AMI in Shandong province found that: the industrial level of AMI is slightly lower, innovative support ability is insufficient and the coordinated development of resources and environment has not yet formed. Thirdly, the paper analyses the output value, employment absorptive capacity and problems of KIPS. Although KIPS has developed in recent years, it is still in the primary stage whose scale has a large gap with AMI in Shandong province.Based on VAR model, the annual data of 2000-2014 in Shandong province is analyzed. Furthermore, the relationship between AMI and KIPS in Shandong province is studied by the methods of co-integration test and Granger causality test etc. The result shows that KIPS in Shandong province is the driving force for the development of AMI, while the pulling effect of AMI for KIPS is very weak, and the interactive development relationship of both is not obvious. |
