Research On Big-data Technology Application In Agro-tech Extension

In 2015, the State Council issued “The Action plan on promoting the development of big data”, including ten fields related big data like the modern agriculture big data program; Central Document No. 1, in 2016, clearly put forward to “vigorously promote the ‘Internet +’modern agriculture, applying The Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Mobile Internet and other modern information technology to promote the reformation of the whole industry chain of agriculture”. In order to improve the conversion rate of scientific and technological achievements and the level of agro-tech extension service, the group in 2009 researched and developed the “Information Platform Based on 3G in National Grass-roots Agro-tech Extension” which is “Cloud Platform in National Grass-roots Agro-tech Extension Service”(hereinafter referred to briefly as “Agro-tech Cloud Platform”) now, using information technology to reform the traditional mode of agro-tech extension. Currently, the “Agro-tech Cloud Platform” and its series products have extended in 26 provinces nationwide and the total amount of users has broken through 2.4 million, accumulating large amounts of data. The combination of the traditional agro-tech extension and information technology makes the application of big-data technology in agrotech extension becomes possible from impossible. Big-data technology application further expands the field of information technology application in agro-tech extension.The research, taking “Agricultural cloud platform” as an example, analyzes the possibility, necessity and feasibility of the big-data technology application in agro-tech extension. At first, the paper not only analyzes the main big-data management technology, big-data processing technology and big-data analysis technology but also analyzes the literature in two aspects about the agricultural big data and information technology application in agro-tech extension presenting the characteristics and deficiencies of the existing studies and putting forward the way of this research that is in the specific context of the agrotech extension project to research how big-data technology can be applied in agro-tech extension work. Secondly, the paper researches the extension mode of “Agro-tech Cloud Platform” at several aspects which are supporting technology, service properties, internet thinking and the stages of development and points out that it is the premise of big-data technology application in agro-tech extension. One step further, the paper thinks the needs of big-data technology application at the present stage are the intelligent query of agricultural knowledge, the analysis of agro-tech social network and the online recommendation of agro-tech services based above two needs through analyzing the types, the characteristics, and the potential value of the big data from the “Agro-tech Cloud Platform”. Thirdly, thought about the needs of big-data technology application at the present stage, the paper proposes to use graph database in agrotech data’s organization and management which is a kind of NoSQL database technology and designs the visualized experiment taking the “One Village One Product” data of the “Agro-tech Cloud Platform” as an example.The research on big-data technology application in agro-tech extension is a very new attempt on theoretical research. By the extension mode of the “Agro-tech Cloud Platform”, the agro-tech extension face the practical problem big data’s generation and application. Taking big-data technology for data management, processing and analysis will improve the level of agro-tech service and improve the efficiency of agro-tech extension.
