| East Port, as a cross point and carrier of five strategic opportunities overlay which includes "one Belt and One Road" development, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei cooperation development, The China (Tianjin) Pilot Free Trade Zone development, accelerating the development and openness of Tianjin Binhai New Area, and National Innovation Demonstration Zone development, which is playing an important role on regional economy development. Regional economy had rapidly development since 2007. At the end of December 2015, there were 6273 registered enterprises and registered capital in 295 billion RMB in DFTPZ. The industry involved finance lease, shipping, logistics, headquarters settlement, etc.Too many companies settled in East Port, which would expose the issue in scarcity of land resources. Further, Tianjin Binhai CBD Area of China (Tianjin) Pilot Free Trade Zone and Tianjin Airport Area of China (Tianjin) Pilot Free Trade Zone were facing the increasingly competition of homogeneous projects, and the competition of financial projects such as financial lease and commercial factoring in China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone and China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone, which restricted the development of drawing external capital and business in some extent. Therefore, there is an important issue in how to formulate the strategies about promoting investment in East Port..The suitable strategies in drawing external capital and business in East Port are not only improving economy, releasing employment pressure, increasing technical skills, offsetting insufficient building funds, optimizing the industrial structure and realizing industrial cluster effect, but a great boost in development and construction of China (Tianjin) Pilot Free Trade Zone and Tianjin Binhai New Area, and building the core functional areas of international shipping center in DFTPZ.This report is aim to discuss the work of drawing external capital and business in East Port, and based on discussion of the relevant references which are talked about drawing domestic and foreign capital and business, combining the collection of research materials in practical work, analyzing present situation, using PEST analysis and SWOT matrix model, searching the opportunities, challenges, advantages and disadvantages, working out specific measures, which will improve the work of drawing external capital and business, and increase the competition in East Port. |
