Study On The Optimization Of Financing Strategies Of The Small And Medium-sized Enterprises Of The City Of Gaomi Based On Perspective Of Government

Small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs), important sector of national economy of the city of Gaomi, Shandong province, have been playing an indispensable role in accelerating economic growth, promoting social harmony and stability in recent years, and expanding employment for urban and rural residents,. Supporting the sound and fast development of SMEs of Gaomi is not only an economic issue, but also a political as well as livelihood issue, which has overall and strategic significance. At present, influenced by factors such as international and domestic environment of economy and finance, Gaomi’s SMEs are in face of severe financing difficulty, which results in strained capital chain and lagging development and in turn hinders the sound development of SMEs on a large scale. This thesis analyzes financing policies related to Gaomi’s SMEs from two perspectives, macro environment of economic theories and policies and micro situation of financing difficulty, in an attempt to find feasible method to ease the financing difficulty of Gaomi’s SMEs.In light of macro view, the author carries out analysis on credit theory, financial repression theory and corporate finance growth cycle theory, and reviews expert’s and scholar’s research on the issue of SMEs’ financing difficulty. In addition, the author analyzes financing policies of government at all levels in a systematic way, which leads to a good understanding of Gaomi’s financing policies and economic environment. In light of micro perspective, the author makes a deep analysis of the current financing difficulty and points out three features of financing situation in Gaomi: single channel, big risk and high cost. The author also researches on causes of the financing dilemma of Gaomi’s SMEs from perspectives including enterprise itself, the relationship between financial institutions and enterprises, and the relationship between government and enterprises, in an aim to provide focus for optimizing Gaomi’s financing strategies.Based on the macro and micro analysis together with the current financing situation of Gaomi’s SMEs, this thesis puts forward some suggestions for optimizing financial strategies to alleviate financing difficulty. In the end, More support should be given to perfect financing credit system, respond promptly to the risks of strained financial chain of some SMEs and Promote transformation and upgrading of enterprises.The innovation of this thesis is putting forward targeted, feasible and guiding suggestions for optimizing Gaomi’s financing strategies on the basis of current national policies, the features of Gaomi’s SMEs and decision-making capacity of the local government, which is instructive for other cities to improve its financing strategies.
