With the development of the economy, consumers’ demands are becoming more individuality and variety. In order to meet the tendency of consumers’demands changes, the manufacturers and retailers also need to product and sell a variety of goods. At the same time, the life cycle of products beginning shorter and shorter. So many goods have the characteristics of seasonal products. As seasonal goods originally covers many industries, such as electronic products, food, clothing, etc. So the coverage of seasonal goods will be more and more widely, and the study about seasonal goods will become more valuable, especially for the wholesalers and retailers, how to formulate a reasonable price to increase their income, make the right order strategy to reduce unnecessary cost is the main fields of their research.This paper tries to study the seasonal goods ordering and pricing strategy from the Angle of retailers. The main contents are summarized as follows:(1) Study the seasonal goods price as an exogenous variable. Retailers have different ordering strategies modes which called one-time ordering and one-time selling, one-time ordering and two-time selling, two-time ordering and two-time selling. At first we studied the one-time ordering and one-time selling model, build the retailers profit function and solve the optimal order. Then on the basic of one-time ordering and one-time selling model.we analysis the ordering strategy of one-time ordering and two-time selling, two-time ordering and two-time selling mode. And we get the optimal quantity of the retailers ordering and the relationship between optimal quantity and various influencing factors. The result of the study shows that if goods’promotion is allowed the retailer’s will increase their order quantity. The profits are higher than the other two modes in the same circumstances if retailer adopt the two-time ordering and two-time selling mode.(2)Study the retailers ordering strategy in different mode when the goods price is an endogenous variable. First discuss the retailer adopts one-time ordering and one-time selling model, find out the optimal price and the optimal order quantity. Then discuss the optimal price and the optimal order quantity if retailers adopt one-time ordering and two-time selling model two-time ordering and two-time selling model.
