Wedding is an old but modern conception, in narrow sense, means wedding ceremony only, but in broad sense, it means the whole wedding industry chain. In China, wedding is a young and rising industry which owns a huge market potential. In daily life, wedding service has gone deep into every family. But nowadays the forms of wedding service is still restricted in the west-east wedding. As the individual requirements for the wedding forms are growing up these days, many other kinds of wedding services spring up quickly. However, because of the shortage of experiences and lack of standards, the wedding industry in China is in a chaos status constantly. The object of this research is a wedding service center specialized in the Chinese wedding service imitating ancient style. Chinese-style wedding is nowadays becoming more popular with the further opening-up of thinking among the Chinese youngsters. We can say that, the rising of Chinese-style wedding is both a kind of fashion and a return of culture.This article made the developing status of the growing Chinese style wedding company as its research direction and the Dezhou Dahuajiao Wedding Service Center( the DDWSC)as its concrete research object. Theory of strategic management, theory of business model and theory of innovation combined the basis of this research of wedding industry. The research was started from the process of DDWSC’s foundation and duration. Through the analysis of the extrinsic factors such like the local political and economic environment and the entire wedding industry developing level, combined with the develop situation itself, the article comes out that there are both developing space and severe stress during the development of the DDWSC. Through the review of development and analysis of management previously, combined with the daily performance, we sum up the most important reasons leading to the crisis of the DDWSC.They are: the miss-management in location selection made the missing of potential customers; the single service form made the boom and short seasons separated clearly; the weakness in competitive power made the instability of the business deal; the low activity in innovation made the low market share; and the most basic reason is the lack of thinking mode that every businessman should have. According to these problems, developing status of wedding industries in America, Japan and the UK, and the experiences of two excellent wedding companies in China for reference, combined with the parts of the other fields’ lessons such like micro business teaches us to be confident and insistent, the net of carry Cheng tells us resource integration is important, the Apple Inc makes us believe the power of creation and brand, the article finally found out some useful countermeasures which may help the company to get out the predicament and obtain a brighter future. That is, to insist on the specificity of Chinese style wedding ceremony, to improve the professional skill of staff numbers, to use different kinds of marketing especially on web, to increase the spirit of innovation and brand and to integrate relevant resources to make oneself more valuable. We hope all these countermeasures could work in practice, and help the DDWSC get out of the embarrassment.
