| With the rapidly changing and complex competitive environment, the organization has to constantly innovative products and services in order to take advantage of this uncertain environment. So, it is necessary for the organization to be equipped with considerable adaptability, flexibility and innovation, and constantly adapt to the needs of the new environment, transform rules, workflow and work thoughts which are inconsistent with the market needs. Every employee is the true experience of the organization, the most innovative and nimble resources that the organization owns, therefore, every employee’s suggestions and views on innovation and development of the organization are of vital importance. The concept of face of the employee can affect employee voice behavior, enhance the group voice climate, and better meet the needs of employees’the concept of face so as to further facilitate the performance of employee voice behavior.Based on the induction and conclusion from the relevant research on the staff’s concept of face and employee voice behavior, this paper discusses the relationship between the staff’s concept of face and employee voice behavior in group voice climate. Through conducting researches, using statistical software SPSS 17.0, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, stepwise regression analysis, one-way analysis of variance, independent sample t-test and structural equation model for data analysis, the followings are the main conclusions:(1) employees’face concept, active group voice climate and employee voice behavior show significant difference on some demographic variables; (2) the intention of acquiring face in the staff’s the concept of face has a significant positive effect on their promotional voice behavior and oppressive voice behavior; (3) the fear of losing face in employees’concept of face has a huge negative impact on their promotional voice behavior and oppressive voice behavior; (4) active group voice climate encourages the voice behavior of the employees who intend to acquire face, and in a organization with active group voice climate, employees who want to acquire face will have a intense intention to make suggestions; (5) active group voice climate doesn’t play a regulatory role on the voice behavior of the employees who are afraid of losing face. |
