Land use/land cover change (Land Use-Cover Change, LUCC) is an important part of global enviroment change and one of the main reasons. In our country, with the rapid development of economy after the reform and opening up, the area of construction land is increasing year by year. In the process of industrialization and urbanization, a large number of high quality cultivated land is occupied, and the land use pattern is still extensive, and the construction land use efficiency is low.The problems that, reduction of arable land, disorderly growth of construction land area promote the growth of construction land and food security is concerned by countries around the world increasingly.Domestic and foreign scholars have conducted a lot of research work in the field of land use change survey and the growth of construction land use.Most of the studies and data show that the occupation of cultivated land by construction land, has been a threat to the food security of human, restrictions on the construction land scale, enhance the management of new construction sites is imperative.Firstly, this paper introduces the policy and management background of land use in China. Then according to the new construction land area data and statistical yearbook data, got the regional differences of the construction land growth, namely the Midwest construction land growth area is significantly higher than the eastern region, the southern coastal comprehensive economic zone construction land growth rate is higher. Then take the southern coastal comprehensive economic zone as an example, extracts the new construction land information from the remote sensing image. Overlay analyses the new construction land patchs, after confirmed, and the construction land record data,extracted from the database of the Ministry of Land and Resources. Calculate the spatial coincidence rate of each new building with the map spot and record data.After the analysis of the variance of the spatial coincidence rate of different economic zones, obtain the difference between the spatial coincidence rate and the economic zone. Analyses the difference of the coincidence rate of space types of the main new building integrated economic zone along the southern coast for three years, and analyses the result, the new highway spatial coincidence rate is the highest, the village land is the lowest, the towns and cities spatial coincidence rate is between them.calculates the degree of centralization of the new construction land. Again on the construction land management type area and spatial coincidence rate of correlation analysis, put forward that the currently gland proportion used to distinguish between different types of new construction land use types is too large, and calculates the degree of centralization of the new construction land. The results show that:Construction land growth rate is still faster with obvious regional differences; Currently used to determine the type of this year approved the construction of a higher proportion of type; There is a significant difference in the spatial coincidence rate between different construction land and record data.
