In traditional forestry stage, due to the rapid development of productivity, people’s demand for wood and forest products is increasing, and the scale of the forest destruction is becoming bigger. Historical practices have proved that this kind of the forestry operations establishing in economic consciousness of "the use of wood", as a result, natural forest has been cut and disappeared. Human over-exploitation of natural resources leads to environmental degradation and forest reduction, and further results in soil erosion, sediment deposition, floods, storms and deserts expand, so that people suffer from the loss of much more than the economic benefits gained by the wood. The destruction of the environment and ecological balance make people aware of the importance and urgency of forest ecosystem, so that the development of forestry industry changes from traditional model to modern one.The construction of ecological civilization is not only related to the modern people’s well-being, but the entire nation’s basic guarantee of future life and survival. Under the background of gradual resources consumption and the increasing aggravation of ecological environmental problem, the idea complying with the laws of nature and protecting the ecological environment must be put in a prominent position. The report to the Eighteenth brings ecological civilization construction into the party constitution and puts forward the construction of China’s beauty, which reflects that the CPC attaches great importance to the ecological civilization. Therefore, the construction of ecological civilization and the political, economic, cultural and social construction should be put together, so as to realize the sustainable development.In order to solve sharp contradictions of the current and future forest ecology and forestry economics, effective measures must be taken and forest eco-economic model that can sustain lasting environment must be built to make forest ecosystem and forestry economic system into the coupled system of forest eco-economic coupled with high levels of coupling, so that forest ecological subsystem and forestry industry economic subsystem keep dynamic balance on the structure and function and make the two mutual coordination and promotion.This paper makes research on the coupled system of forest eco-economic by the perspective of evolutionary economics. Based on the system theory, coordination theory, ecological economics, evolutionary economics theory, sustainable development theory and other related theory, the paper analyzes dialectically the relationship between the two subsystems of the coupled system of forest eco-economic and inverted U curve is used to measure the relationship between the two. Then, from the perspective of evolutionary economics, the paper analyzes the evolution process of the coupled system of forest eco-economic and the coupled system of characteristics, function, mechanism, and target. At last, the paper establishs the index evaluation system of coupled system and introduces the coupling degree model and the coupled coordination degree model through the above analysis.With the evolutionary economics of thoughts and characteristics, the paper applies evolutionary economics’s characteristics such as dynamic, evolution, and innovation and Darwin’s theories to analyze forest eco-economic coupling system. It considers the coupled system of forest eco-economic of structure, function, status and characteristics change over time under the evolution power. Through innovation of technology, system, concept and mode, original practice "inherit, mutate, select naturally". Under the coupling coordination mechanism, forest ecological subsystem and forestry economic subsystem promote and coordinate each other and achieve forest eco-economic balance and sustainable development.The biggest innovation of this thesis is its research perspective. Firstly, according to the characteristic of the forest ecological system and forestry economic system, the paper researches the coupled system of forest eco-economic from the perspective of evolutionary economics; Secondly, the existing literature available do not analyze the evolution process of the coupling system, while the article systematically analyzes the evolution process of the coupled system of forest eco-economic; Thirdly, the paper states the coupled system of forest eco-economic combined with evolutionary economics of thoughts, characteristics and outlines the coupling mechanism; Finally, the paper establishes the index of evaluation system of forest eco-economic coupling and uses the physical concept of the capacity coupling and capacity coupling coefficient model.
