Informational Structure of organization, the key components of organizational structure, refers to the collection of information existence and exchange. Effective Informational Structure not only can assist managers in scientific decision-making, but also to improve employee work performance. In recent years, due to the rapid development of information technology, the original business model and organizational information structure for all sectors have been greatly affected. Social Media, represented by Weibo and Wechat, which as a whole new information exchange medium, not only become an essential elements of daily life, but also become an important factor which caused internal organizational information structure revolution.The current researches of social media, which mostly focused on the direct effect to improve organizational communication, pay less attention on the revolution of informational structure. On the basis of in-depth study of existing literature, this paper analyzed the relationship between Informational Structure, Incentive Theory and some other concept. The paper also analyzed the effect of informational structure on incentive, staff commitment and work performance on the background of social media by Questionnaire.With the advancement of Chinese electric power system reform, the primary power supply company faces challenges from changes from environment, technology, market and so on. Therefore, it is an urgent problem to optimize the management model and improve employees’performance. Taking Shandong Province primary power company as a case study, this paper conducted research on its business situation on the perspective of informational structure and work performance by staff interviews and questionnaires, and found out its management challenges. This paper analyzed the survey data by exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, ANOVA and SEM through SPSS 16.0.The result shows that informational structure could positively influence performance by incentive and staff commitment. Finally, based on the results of empirical research and case analysis, this paper gave some recommendations for improving management performance.Due to information technology continuously develop, organizational structure revolution toward to flat and networking, managers only consider the situation in a timely manner to adapt to this change in trend, and this change applied to improve the practice of management performance which, to be able to achieve lasting competitive in the current fierce competition in the enterprise.
