Recently, applications for taking taxis have already become indispensable tools in taxi consumption. Uber, a newcomer, entered into home market from abroad, it has grown rapidly by its unique business and service model, and it also has a great market demand in China. The growing process of Uber is dependent on its effective business model. However, as a new internet model, there exists some problems in it. For example, there has been deficiency in organizational legitimacy of Uber. The deficiency of strategic resources is likely to hinder the company from expanding in China, and even destroy its development of business. If Uber wants to grasp the market opportunity in such a condition with opportunities and challenges, the correct choice for business model and continuous innovations are particularly important.Based on business model, innovation of business model and organizational legitimacy, the research paper who studies Uber, mainly intends to find the problems and put forward an innovation strategy of models, by analyzing the inside and outside environment of Uber and its business model. The research paper first analyzes the overall outside condition of Uber from the point of politics, economy, society and technique, and learns the main conditions Uber faces. Then, focus on the business conditions and analyze its competitors in detail. After that, analyze the specific business of Uber in more detail by combining its development history, so the Uber and its business can be learnt as a whole. Based on previous studies, the research paper analyzes the business model from value proposition, operation process and profit model. Meanwhile, organize stakeholders related to Uber and analyze effects of these stakeholders in detail. According to above analysis, the research finds there are some problems in present business models of Uber. Strategies of model innovation about solving problems Uber faces can be shown from organizational legitimacy, new products development and strategic alliances. At last, provide safeguard measure by platform cooperation, organizational structure and incentive syste.The article mainly intends to provide some innovation strategies to perfect the business model of Uber and make Uber develop better and offer ideas for future development of taxi applications at the same time.
