Through case study, those risks happened were all due to weak risk management of the companies. How to improve company competitiveness, reduce operational risk which are always concerned topics for theorists and entrepreneurs. Therefore enterprise risk management system is the core element of enterprise operation, which will greatly help company to improve internal control, reduce operational risk and raise their competitiveness.The thesis starts with the concept of internal control and risk management, list the current situations and issues of company Hilx’s non-trading precious metal business risk management.Based on the risk identification and evaluation,the thesis place the proposalof precious metal business risk management systemimplementation, including the basic principle, risk controlling structure design, decision making system and procedures; and finally propose the company risk management strategy.The research object of the thesis, non-trading precious metal business means metal industry business and related processes. Precious metal trading business which includes precious metal investments and future transactions, are not part of the research objects.
