Cross Border RMB Trade Finance Product’s Development And Creation Research Under TSC Module

On July 2009, six Ministers of P.R.C announced the trial of RMB Cross-Border settlement, which claims the start of RMB internationalization. With the deepness and width of the trial, more and more companies accept and choose RMB as their settlement currency. This is not only a challenge on banks’ settlement capacity, but also an opportunity for them to develop their RMB Cross-Border financial products. After seven years, cross border RMB has made its substantial portion of the market, RMB is deemed to become the major currency in the near future. Then under this circumstance, this paper chose X bank, for which the author works, to research how trade finance products can be created in the standard, routine and professional platform of TSC by the scale effect and optimization. This paper also set up a case study on a popular cross border RMB trade finance product, trying to design a new competitive product for the purpose to provide an research aspects.
