The Optimization Of Financial Performance Of The Construction Bank And The Branch Of He Ping

As an important aspect of financial research, the study of the commercial banks plays an important role in directing the development of modern economy. With the rapid progress in market development, the competition of the commercial banks in our country is becoming more and more serious. At present, commercial banks in our country ought to upgrade the competitiveness of their own, in order to get the favorable position in the background of economic globalization. Among the competitiveness of the commercial banks, the financial performance of is the core part. To improve the financial performance not only do good to our commercial banks to defend the financial risk, but also play an important role in keeping the sustainable development of commercial banks.Case study method is what the essay applies, which Focuses on branch of HEPING of China Construction Bank and its financial performance, and based on which the research is launched. I collect the data of the branch of HEPING of China Construction Bank and four large scale commercial banks in our country that is Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited(ICBC), Agricultural Bank of China(ABC), Bank of China, and China Construction Bank(CCB), from 2012 to 2014 which including three years. I usage four aspects which represent the financial performance of commercial banks that is profitability, safety, liquidity and growth and all of the four aspects include eleven indexes and I use longitudinal and horizontal comparison with the indexes. What is more, I use structural analysis in the essay when handling the data. Compared with other research methods, structural analysis has its own advantages, that is it’s clear and concise as well as simplicity. But I believe that the structural analysis of the four aspects can reflect level of financial performance of commercial banks, judge the present situation of branch of HEPING and the future trend of the bank branch.The essay focusing on the branch of HEPING of the CCB gets the results that the performance of the branch of HEPING is not quite well. On the one hand, the present situation of CCB influences the performance, on the other hand, it is the economic situation,which fails to provide enough opportunities and factors, of the branch does, I believe, lead to the result. At the same time based on the results in the essay I make some suggestions:(1) reform and improve the financial management system, which includes “vertical management” and “double line management” structural system, responsibility accounting, quota management;(2) improve the construction of safety and liquidity;(3) improve the initiatives of creation, which include making questionnaires and predictions, attracting and training employees, making the structure smoothly and procedural risk management systems;(5) improving the skills and quality of employees, including making more motivations for employees and improving the abilities of the employees.
