Financial Agglomeration And External Radiation Effects Research Of Beijing

From the development process of the world’s financial center, the financial gathering is their only way. Beijing is one of the earliest areas of financial gathering occurs, but the existing research on the financial gathering in Beijing, mainly in the financial industry radiation in the three major economic circle or comparative analysis of some major cities when the financial industry cluster locate been involved; another research path is Beijing CBD, financial Street’s financial industry gathering development. The study is usually broad, ignoring geographical factors and some personality factors.This article will choose finance gathering in Beijing and radiation effects of surrounding areas as research subjects. This paper is based on the industrial agglomeration theory, the theory of the financial center, financial agglomeration and economic development theory and the theory of radiation. I summarize the results and areas not covered in the study of the previous problem, on this basis, making a theoretical study of Beijing financial agglomeration and radiation effects. Firstly, analyze the current development status of Beijing financial industry and Beijing financial agglomeration from the banking, securities and insurance industry development, and then find the comparison from Shanghai and Luxembourg financial agglomeration characteristics. Finally, from the geographical advantages, policy support and other aspects of the advantages of Beijing can be formed influencing financial agglomeration, the formation of a theoretical framework.On the basis of theoretical analysis, combined with the characteristics of the financial industry, I select 19 variables to build financial gathering factors model. In the empirical part, selected 13 years of data 2001-2013 in Beijing, use factor analysis to classify and score, finally extract three main factors which are the economic and financial factors, infrastructure factors, and environmental factors. Overall, the local fiscal revenue, total imports and exports, the balance of deposits and loans of financial institutions, domestically listed companies, the number of college students in the school, the mobile phone number, the green area is the most critical factor affecting the financial industry agglomeration degree. When empirical radiation effects, starting from radiation fields and radiation intensity, analyzing radiation effects range area of Beijing from 2001 to 2013 and the intensity of radiation effects in each region, with have some practical significance.
