Research On Small Town Construction Of Lianjiang Guantou

Small towns, as a communication link between cities and countryside, have been playing an increasingly important role in promoting coordinated economic development of rural and urban areas. It has a certain theoretical and practical meaning to carry out a research on a particular area of small town construction under the background of urbanization, industrialization and informatizationTaking Lianjiang Guantou town as the research object, this paper firstly analyzes its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and then clarifies its development strategy. Secondly, the paper summarizes its construction results. Finally, it puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions on the basis of successful experience of Nan’an Shuitou town for reference. The main research results are as follows:(1) Lianjiang Guantou town has many advantages on the aspects of location, resources, and social economy, while it also has many weaknesses on the capital, planning, talents and supporting policies.(2) The achievements of Lianjiang Guantou town include established the development plan, economic development, improved facilities, improved the ecological environment.(3) The enlightenment of Nan’an Shuitou town construction mainly include, completing the project planning, developing the project functions, security requirements, strengthening the organizational guarantee and etc.(4) The strategies to promote the construction of Guantou towm include explicit function positioning, reasonable planning, establishing diversified investment financing system and taking personnel training seriously.
